Koh Samui @ the Lotus friendly hotel - thankfully it’s not the I friendly one

So our room isn’t ready and the kitchen at the Greek restaurant was apparently closed. So we walked up to a coffee place thinking it was restaurant but it was a super expensive cafe! Like 150baht a coffee kinda place. Mark and the kids got shakes and I had a coffee and fancy mango and sticky rice. I was kind and shared the fancy rice with the children. There’s some super fancy places on this beach! 

We though we’d go back to the Greek place to eat and then were given menus but told no food even though a guy was eating beside us. Then the waitress asked if we wanted breakfast and we were like maybe? But then they took our menus we think maybe a new menu is coming at 1pm by right now we are just sitting here starving. 

Ugh. 

We finally got these huge menus and it was sooooo expensive! We are walking to a Thai place up the road. Yeah!! Phad Thai 80 baht - now we are talking!!!

We got our room around 1:30 and the bathroom smelled like sewer! They loved ya to another room as apparently this has happened before. The first room was quite awful so we were happy to move. It’s a weird town Koh Sumui. Glad it’s only one night!
