Climbing caves and island hoping

Wonderful day exploring the waters surrounding Koh Lanta. We started at ghost island where about 20 of us got to climb up into caves that look like a skull from the water. The ropes to climb up were very sturdy but I must admit it was quite the exercise! Safety may not have been the first concern - but we all did it and were all cheering each other on! Apparently the Japanese army lived in this cave during World War Two.
We then did a some kayaking around a small island over to a beautiful beach that had a sand bar joining it to another island. Breath taking! And no one else is site!
It was awesome. Monkeys started calling to each other as we made our arrival on the beach as they relate humans and food now. Sadly, the tour guides fed them, but I think at this point it maybe be to lure them away from the people while we were eating.
We did some swimming around the island and then continued to kayak to another island. We ended the trip in a huge cave which was breath taking!
We ended the trip just off the beach and had to wade into shore. We started out barefoot but the shells on this beach were terribly painful! We stopped and flip flipped our way back. On the beach they had passion fruit juice that tasted like coolaid and deep fried banana! So delicious! It was a great day! So many beautiful islands to explore with no people just monkeys!
