Koh Lanta to Phi Phi to Phuket
Travel day, we took the slow ferry from Koh Lanta to Phi Phi were we transfered to a larger
Nicer shop to Phuket. We used CHAO KOH ferries and I would NOT recommend. The plank that was letting people off of the ferry we were getting on cane lose and dropped with an older man on it. He was definitely hurt but thankfully not too badly. The ship was older and not super well kept. The second ship was nicer and was waiting for us, but they had these guys on both ships selling transportation mini vans from Phuket tomyour hotel.
Most of them were nice enough but this one guy ended up yelling at me while Inwas sitting alone on the top of the ship. He was demanding to know how many people I was travelling with and I told he I wasn’t interested. He then got super aggressive and told me it was his ship and he was asking me a question and I needed to respond, as he wasn’t selling anything (though he totally was). It was scary. I actually said “why are you getting so aggressive” and he went off yelling at me. The lady sitting beside me was like “what was that about?”
We ended up talking all the way back as we were both so confused by his hyper aggressive behaviour and Shen was super nice! She comes here every year from Sweden to escape the cold. Really lovely interesting retired woman.
Anyway the ride was beautiful and Phi Phi is a place I’d love to see more of - it was gorgeous!!! Just stunning!
