Ferry to Koh Tao - so gorgeous this island

Here are a few photos from our ferry ride over to Koh Tao. The island name translates to Turtle Island. It has only been inhabited since 1947 when the first settlers landed from other Thai islands. It was once full of sea turtles but now there are few. Sad how quickly humans can change a land mass. Hopefully, we’ll find a few in a remote part of the island. We are planning to do some more beach hopping!
