We made it! Da Nang

 We got in! We were so tired and happy!!

The kid and I were starving so we went to TKs seafood for noddles. Dev says "awe mom look at that animal is it a mouse?" I respond,  “Um, no son it’s a rat”. They were quite cute going into the garbage as we sat and waited for noodles. There was a little kitten wandering around thinking it could chase them away, even though it was half their size. Dev was eating his noodles as I enjoyed a Tiger beer waited for my food to come out, when Dev jumped out of his seat! The kitten had come up and was licking his foot, he thought it was a rat. Everyone laughed. One of the guys that worked there was making race car sounds with a coke car very loud (and quite impressive) as it really sounded like a race car. My food never came, so we settled up and went to a grocery mart where I got some veggie udon noodles and potato chips that were a special flavour of nori suchi. We also got a couple of beers for the room before bed. What a unique place. I would not recommned TK's for food or anything - though Dev never got sick so there's a plus! 

We also had to cross the road twice to get to the groceries and food - OMG there are very, very, few stop lights! It is go go go here! 

There are cross walks that you step across the traffic with the scooters will go around you and the cars you avoid. This is going to take some time to get used to!
