Surfing and Aerial Yoga
After a terrible awful no good sleep the second night we decided to spend Nee Years day morning at the beach. We spelt awful because we are jet lagged and keep waking up at 1am then 4am and then 5,6am. So restless. Of course it was New Year’s Eve the night before and all of us woke up at 4:30
Am to people banging on a door. Then a party erupted in the waiting area of our hotel which is in the middle of the court yelled in the middle of all the rooms! They were so loud! At 5:30 we all woke up again to Mark yelling Hey Hey! At them as they had broken out the boom box! It was insane.
That said we woke up and had breakfast in the hotel
At 7am. A lot of traditional food, always Pho and eggs with toast. The first day I thought the eggs were hard boiled and grabbed one to crack on my plate. It was raw (which was kind of a relief because I was hoping it wasn’t a baby in there! You never know!)
After breakfast we grabbed seats at the beach and Dev and I rented surf boards! So much fun!!! The beach is incredible!
Luckily things started opening up again on New Year’s Day so we went for a delicious lunch at My Casa - just down the road from our hotel. It was a little pricey but so worth it! Lots of veggie options and amazing service! They accidentally gave us a Spivey potato dish and made another mild for the kids no charge! So good!!! Highly recommend!
After lunch we went back to the room. I was so tired from surfing but had found a yoga studio near by and wanted to try it! So I forced myself to go! It was awesome! Mark and the kids slept and I inverses myself with Aerial Yoga by Avi. Also recomend! She was so kind and was super helpful setting me up on the hammock! It was very interesting, though I think my hips and pelvis is still bruised from hanging upside down! Lol
