Food reviews
We went to a place across the Hoi An bridge at the corner called Mago Mango, where the night market begins for lunch. They has a three course meal deal for 180, 000 including a drink and it was amazing! Marks fav dish yet! He had the red snapper with tomato pineapple salsa. I had a buddha special and it was so yummy. Though afterward my stomach was not my friend. The heat may be catching up to me. Fro starters we had these yummy little pumpkin tacos, with lotus seed humous (very good!). Desert was mango flambé and Mark had passion fruit creme brûlée in the fruit. All excellent!
After lunch we shopped for lanterns and then Keenan and I went to Cargo Club Cafe for amazing chocolate croissant! Recommend! I had a hot latte also amazing!
We walked back to our room afterward for some down time and to plan for our check-out tomorrow. We've decided to hire a driver and go to Hue. It looks incredible! Time for a little more culture! We are going to have the driver take us to Marble Mountain, Son Tra, and a beach on our way to the hotel in Hue. Should be interesting!
For dinner we looked up a well reviewed place close to the hotel called Little Flower. It was a small family owned place on the road near out hotel. They were very busy, and out of a lot of supplies (including Cau Lau - so sad) and fresh seafood. Mark was pretty happy they wouldn't serve anything but fresh fish! They were very nice and the food was good for the very, very cheap price. I think all in for all of us it came to $21 Canadian. We left them a nice tip as they were working hard to serve all the customers!
